This advice is relevant for individuals of all ages. Create a skincare regimen that encompasses multiple steps, layering products from the lightest (water-based) to the heaviest. Incorporating eye cream is crucial for both your morning and nighttime routines. In the evening, choose a nourishing cream and apply it generously to enjoy its benefits overnight. Well-hydrated and supple skin appears more radiant, even without any makeup.

When it comes to makeup, it might be best to avoid bold eyeliners that demand precision and skill, particularly if you have hooded eyes.

Instead, think about scheduling a private lesson with a local professional who can guide you on how to apply eyeliner suited to your eyelid shape, as techniques and styles differ for each individual.

Utilize neutral mat eye shadows that complement your skin tone to deepen or define the outer corner of your eye. Begin applying eye shadow while keeping your eyes open; this technique helps prevent overshooting the application area, which can occur if you start with your eyes closed. Once you’ve outlined the application area with your eyes open, proceed to blend while your eyes are closed, ensuring you don’t expand the area further.

To create a striking look, apply the deepest color and shadow along the roots of your lashes, extending for about a third of the length of your lash line in the outer corner of your eye. Steer clear of applying shimmery eye shadows to the crease of sagging skin. Instead, focus on using them in the center of your eyelid or towards the inner corner of your eye.

The application of tufted false eyelashes can enhance the appearance of the eyes by opening or elongating them while minimizing and lifting the eyelids. If false eyelashes aren’t your preference, you can achieve a similar effect by applying generous amounts of mascara and brushing the lashes outward. For those with shorter lashes, consider using mascara that contains small fibers for added length.

The eye contouring technique achieved in just a few simple steps.

  1. Neutralize the color of the eyelid with a nude-colored primer.
  2. Apply a light eye shadow (not optical white but cream, light nude, light luminous) on the mobile eyelid and in the inner corner of the eye.
  3. Take a brown eye shadow (earth, dove gray, not black, at most dark brown) and apply it on the fixed eyelid in this case drooping, moving the shade higher than the natural crease, making circular movements with a soft blending brush or a soft pen brush.
  • Apply the butter-colored pencil on the lower lash line. It gives a more open effect to the eye.

Key points: To enhance your evening makeup, choose a highlighter that has a subtle, luminous finish rather than a metallic or overly powdery one. Apply it beneath the arch of the eyebrow and in the inner corners of the eyes for a radiant look.

  • Skip the eyeliner and effectively conceal dark circles with a high-quality concealer. This will eliminate the appearance of tiredness, making your look appear more lifted.

A helpful tip for masking hooded lid eyes with makeup, is to draw less attention to it:

– a darker shade applied under the outer eyelid create the illusion of depth;

– blend and lighten towards the top and towards the inner corner of the eye;

– illuminate the eyebrow arch;

– use mascara, an excellent ally because it curls and lengthens the lashes;

– I do not recommend eyeliner, it is better to use soft pencils;

– Nude shades are the most suitable for the inner part while brown shades are best for the outside.

“Select a career that ignites your passion and you’ll never feel like you’re working a day in your life.” This resonates with me, as my enthusiasm for this field led me to discover my identity as a “wellness operator” before further honing my skills at an academy as a makeup artist. I have gained experience in various entertainment settings, including film, theater, and dance, where I have crafted professional makeup looks.

Bridal makeup never fails to thrill me; it should embody the perfect balance between a natural, glowing appearance and a striking, attention-grabbing look. Now, as a seasoned professional, I’ve realized just how enjoyable the world of makeup artistry can be. Most importantly, it allows artists to explore their unique style and personal interpretation of beauty!
