Materials selected to produce the best makeup case
Prime quality wood, top of the range plastic and aluminium materials, electric components certified to the strictest standards of safety and performance: these are the star players in Cantoni’s products. Cantoni’s choice of materials for makeup cases, makeup stations, chairs and mirrors is never dictated by a situation or cost, but only and exclusively by the goal of achieving the most efficient solution. All of Cantoni’s product lines are composed of different materials, selected and combined to achieve the right balance between function, strength, weight and appearance and follow a dedicated production cycle, which step after step, leads to the creation of unique pieces and of the best makeup cases.
Wooden products
All articles produced from wood by Cantoni are made by expert Italian master artisans. The attention to detail, quality of the raw materials, solidity and duration have always been our priority. The carefully selected dried beech and ash wood, of certified origin, is a key material for our wheeled make-up station and the vanity mirrors, as well as for the S102 and S104 chairs. The lacquered finish, in non-toxic, texturized paint, is sprayed on to guarantee perfection of the finished product.
Cases and mirrors
Cantoni’s best makeup cases and mirrors, whilst made with artisanal care, are manufactured using advanced machinery and robotic processes to guarantee maximum precision. The VT and VP range of make-up cases, for example, combine top quality multilayer poplar with an encasement of technical material to give the structure lightness and strength, whilst the Voyager range has been developed in thermoformed ABS, making it nondeformable, thanks to the absence of joints. To achieve the best resistance to time and load stress, the anodised aluminium used for the make-up chairs and the Evolution makeup case is subjected to a surface hardening process to 17/20 micron. Cantoni has also chosen to use the best passivated SS306 stainless steel for points subjected to increased levels of stress.
